“Imagine” your potential,

Wherever there’s a mountain,

There is a valley.

Wherever there’s a mountain,

There is a valley . . . beyond.

Snow-covered mountains, hard rock, jagged mountains,

Green and flower-clothed mountains, or dark, forested mountains,

A mountain is still a mountain.

High mountains, low mountains,

Rolling mountains, peaked mountains,

A mountain is still a mountain.

Jungle canopied valleys, lush grass-covered valleys,

Dry bones dusted valleys, or ocean-side valleys,

A valley is still a valley.

Bleak, lonely valleys, Soft dew-bathed valleys,

War ravaged valleys, our own Red River Valley,

A valley is still a valley.

Some mountains we see with our eyes.  (The same is true of a valley.)

Some can only be seen with our hearts

Where the dreams are growing of all we could do

And all that we might become, beyond any mountain or valley.

“Can you imagine?”

“I’ll try.”

There is a place for each dream:
High or low, rain or snow,

No mountain can block such a view!

Here or there . . . somewhere . . .

A dream’s holding a spot for you.

There is a place in this Valley,

With supporting connections beyond

The boundaries of valleys and mountains,

Where it’s safe to imagine, and there’s help to, “Become.”
