1999 C&C Career wear for men/women. Skills training through First Impressions, Define & Express and Career Essentials Has distributed 35,519 articles of clothing to 3206 clients. 2117 clients have received 2858 hours of training.

122 businesses have started by 307 graduates. 582 part-time students learned various aspects of running a business. 21,360 hrs. of business training.
2000 POE Basic computer training & hands-on office experience 128 clients received basic computer skills; 15 clients basic office skills; 110 clients were taught interpersonal/communication skills, taught 27,350 hours of effective hands-on job experience.

One of the ways the FHRA's Self-Sufficiency Program determined the success of the training programs offered were through evaluation forms that track a participant's learning curve. The results of the evaluations taken for the First Impressions/Define & Express trainings dated 1/03-12/06. Of the 1087 responses to the question: My awareness/knowledge prior to training was:

  • 37% reported average
  • 21% reported above average
  • 13% reported excellent.


Of those same 1087 responses to the question: My awareness/knowledge after training was:

  • 0% reported below average
  • 7% reported average
  • 33% reported above average
  • 59% reported excellent.


These results lead us to conclude that even those who felt they had a good understanding of the material presented, still increased their knowledge considerably.
